Dr.
Phil Lemire graduated from the University of Windsor in 2007 with an
Honours Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biological Sciences. He
continued his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) in 2011 with Clinic
Honours and the academic distinction of Cum Laude. As a chiropractor
licensed by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Dr. Lemire has the
ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions. Dr. Lemire
enjoys being an active member of his community and has volunteered with
several organizations in the past including the Windsor Regional
Hospital, Knights of Columbus and the Riverside Minor Hockey League.
Dr.
Lemire believes in motivating his patients to stay physically fit and to
live a healthy lifestyle. As such, Dr. Lemire holds credentials as a
Personal Training Specialist and as a Nutrition and Wellness Specialist
through Can Fit Pro. Having participated in numerous sports throughout
the years, Dr. Lemire has a special interest in sports injuries and
rehabilitation.
Dr.
Lemire values the importance on ongoing continued education and stays
current with the most recent scientific literature. Also, he has
completed additional courses in Active Release Techniques® (ART),
Graston Technique® (GT), and Clinical
Acupuncture. As a chiropractor, Dr. Lemire specializes in the diagnosis
and treatment of disorders related to the muscular, skeletal and nervous
systems of the body. The diagnostic process includes a full detailed
history of your complaint, general health assessment, and physical
examination, including ranges of motion, orthopedic testing, palpation,
and neurological testing. Treatments may utilize a range of methods
including spinal manipulation, extremity adjusting, electro-modalities,
soft tissue therapy, Active Release Techniques®,
Graston Technique®, acupuncture,
custom-made orthotics, exercise prescriptions, and lifestyle and
nutritional advice.
