Jessie Allison Naturopathic Doctor, graduated from Laurentian University
with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She also completed courses
to obtain a certificate in Environmental Biology. After graduating,
Jessie was a college instructor at the CTS Canadian Career College, and
was responsible for directing the Sterile Techniques and
Phytopharmaceutical courses. She continued her education by completing
four years of study at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
She is a Registered Naturopathic Doctor, Licensed with The Board of
Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy and certified by the North
American Board of Naturopathic Examiners. In addition, she is a member
of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Currently, she is broadening her scope of practice and is in the process
of finishing a 3-year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Gerontology, in which
she is studying the special health needs of older persons.
Jessie’s special interests include geriatric conditions, digestive and
elimination disorders (gas/bloating, constipation/diarrhea), nutrition
(including vegetarian/vegan nutrition and sport nutrition), sport
medicine, pain management, skin disorders (acne, eczema, psoriasis,
dryness), and stress management.
