Charlene
is a clinical Social Worker and Registered Counsellor with the Canadian
Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is a graduate of the
Clinical Social Work Program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to
receiving her M.S.W. Charlene completed her Bachelor of Social Work at
the University of Manitoba. Charlene is a registered Social Worker with
the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Charlene
has continued to enhance her skills and education through various
certification programs. Most recently Charlene has become certified as
a Compassion Fatigue Specialist through the Traumatology Institute in
Toronto, Ontario. Compassion Fatigue support for caregivers or helping
professionals can be provided through workshops or individual sessions.
In
addition Charlene is a Grief Recovery Specialist with The Grief Recovery
Institute. The Grief Recovery Program is an action program providing
you with the information and steps to take in order to recover from
grief related to death, divorce or any other major loss.

on holistic health seeking to restore a balanced mind, heart, body and
soul. A strong emphasis is placed on the therapeutic relationship and
clients are asked for feedback on a regular basis to ensure the process
is beneficial for clients.
